Since 1967, the Whooping Crane has been classified as a critically endangered species. Only around 300 of these birds remain in the wild.

Extinct in the wild, the last White Tiger living free was shot in 1958. These beauties were at risk from birth because of the genetic mutation that resulted in the white and black coat.
